PLAYER OF THE WEEK

So we're here with the maiden edition of the Player Of The Week series and our first player to be profiled is no other than our fine boy with plenty pimples lol, Nemi.

FPD: So introduce yourself
Player: My name is Nemi Alabala , a 300 level student of Uniport studying Religious and Cultural Studies. I'm a native of Okrika in Rivers state. I'm  a facial model and I do showbiz as well.

FPD: When did you start modeling?
Player: Well I started modeling when I was in secondary school. I think SS3 in the year 2012 then , cause that's when my zeal for modeling actually picked up when I first went to the studio to take shots of myself that will be uploaded on the school website and also for the annual magazine. So along the line , something just dawned on me and I was really loving the pictures I took in the studio so I said to myself I think I'm fit to be a model.

FPD: Do you intend to pursue modeling professionally or it's just a pleasurable pastime ?
Player: Yes I would want to take it professional cause I love acting too. Oops I didn't say that earlier but as an upcoming future actor. I think it would really make sense cause while I'm on the screen acting I'm still showcasing myself and modeling as well and that alone will go a long way to push me far and make me a public figure.

FPD: So is everybody in your family in full support of your career choice?
Player: Yeah sure most times I'll be gisting with my mum and I'll show her some of my latest shoots. Even when I post online she always likes and comments, same with my siblings.

FPD: Do you have any role models in the fashion industry ?
Player: Yeah sure I do. I like Uti's style and in the big screen( Nollywood) , I like Mike Ezuruonye , people say we look alike though but I'm not 100% sure about that.

FPD: What's your best feature? Let me guess, your beards?
Player: Yeah sure, you know what's up. I don't joke with it , always in line. I had to cut my Afro so I could really look like a member of the beard gang and I'm happy I did but my fans out there most of the time don't recognize me again from afar.

FPD: Lmao fans mi!
Player: Hahahaha kosi fans daro problems.

FPD: (Ghen Ghen ) Oga who is your FPD crush ?
Player : lol well I don't think I have any crush there. I'm blank on that.

FPD: Describe yourself with 3 words that start from "p"?
Player: Principled, persistent and passionate

FPD: Do you have any life guideline or quotes that keep you going in tough times?
Player: Yeah, well it's my favorite quote. I stole it or will I say I borrowed it from my late grandfather , it says " Don't tell me about others because you'll one day tell others about me. "

FPD: Who would you love to do a collaboration with?
Player: I would want to start from home, so it would be either Uti or Mike Ezuruonye.

FPD: So lastly , where do you see yourself in 4 years?
Player: Well now I'll call that a bomb question. Well it's not over until it's over. Talking about me in the next 4 years which I know will be something worth living for. By then, I'll be done with film school which I'm going to embark on after my schooling and start up some movie shoots and my modeling career professionally. Then every other thing can follow suit.

FPD: Big plans bro and they'll happen. Amen. Thanks for your time
Player: Yeah. Thanks a million.
